What We Do:
We impart to Israeli students the understanding that Judaism encompasses more than just religious practice – it encapsulates a culture, a people, and a set of values that are beautiful in ways they may not have previously imagined. We emphasize to future student-leaders that pluralism is pivotal to preserving Israel's essence as both a Jewish and democratic nation and ensuring that Israel remains a welcoming haven for Jews worldwide.
Which Campuses do we serve?
Hillel Israel operates across eight centers spanning the country: The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Tel Aviv University, Ben Gurion University of the Negev, Haifa University, Technion–Israel Institute of Technology, Gordon College in Haifa, Tel Hai College in the upper Galilee, and Sapir Academic College in Sderot.
Serving as the Israeli constituency of Hillel International, the world's largest global Jewish student organization, Hillel Israel engages with more than 20,000 Israeli students annually, offering them significant Jewish experiences. Additionally, we collaborate with over 100 organizations both within Israel and abroad.
